Hogs #37 is sad to see. Still no respect for Olajubutu either
http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2...gs_Defense.htm
1. miami (why they are in my top 10)
2. t.u.
3. ou
4. nebraska
6. USC
7. Cal
56. A&M
Defensive Lines-
1. nebraska (hmm, i remember telling t.u. fans on this board they did not even have the best d-line in their own conference)
2. ou
5. t.u.
10. USC
47. A&M
Linebackers-
1. penn state
2. USC
3. Cal
4. Nebraska (once again, ahead of t.u.)
8. ou
10. t.u.
44. A&M
DBs-
1. Miami
3. t.u.
8. ou
29. USC
86. A&M (no surprise)
Special Teams-
1. georgia
2. t.u.
48. USC (needs work)
85. A&M (needs lots of work)
...anyway, these rankings are pretty interesting and basically what i expected. it was pretty funny how i was lambasted earlier when i said USC had better LBs than t.u. and the DL was pretty close; that t.u. was not even the best in their conference in some of those areas. maybe next time i won't get silly insults thrown at me b/c i don't think t.u. is the best at everything. alas....thats probably too much to ask.

funny, UT is better than A&M in every category again. not much of a surprise i guess
A&M was higher in the QB category.
Check Phil Steele's rankings & his history the past few yrs in College ball.
Hmmm, I remember telling that to some people who jumped on any teams jock within reach.
I'll be a man & root for the same team I always have. No need to be a jock & switch teams every other post.
Hmm, you're quoting CollegeFootballNews.com as fact? What makes you think these clowns know any more than you do about football?
Ask Tennesee last year how much pre-season rankings matter.
The jock jumping has no answer for the facts.
