Yeah, I got my ass juked by him 35-14 at the half on XBox live... its like the way Vick used to be unstoppable. I hate when they make these unstoppable cheese players.

Bo Jackson on Tecmo Bowl was unrealistically unstoppable. Then again, throwing a 97 yard touchdown pass was unrealistic, too.

I loved that game. You had to wrestle with the defender so you would not get tackled. Kevin Mack and Barry Sanders were also very good on that game.

My Superstar mode RB got drafted by Green Bay and we played the Saints in the second regular season game. My D shut Reggie down as far as running goes (my 77 OVR back actually had more yards rushing) but Bush had three TD catches for like 140 yards - all off of either short hitches or flare passes.

    I lost by 21.

Its more realistic in that you can only control your guy when he is in and you don't call the plays. I like it better.

I really like it. You can acculmulate "points" (for big plays, TD's, etc) that will translate into either add-ons for ratings or team status. Like for instance, as a rookie RB you can only use your points on toughness and stamina. But once you have enough points, you can advance to levels where the points can be used on hands, acccel, etc.

What I was thinking would be fun is to make an LB and hopefully get a team with a great O and a leaky running D. That way you can control the QB everytime on O and really concentrate on getting tackles and sacks on D rather than just flipping to the safety and batting the ball away pass after pass.

nah... im gonna be either a qb or rb... i need to be a star.

WTF is bill cowhers problem with my ing superstar dammit... im carrying for around 8.3 yards per carry and the ing guy will only give me 5 or 6 carries a game... since when does pittsburg not run the ball? jeez i quit this ... im gonna make a qb, that way i can be in every play.

So I'm plugging along with the Packers, sitting at 2-2 going into a game at Lambeau with 4-0 St Louis. On the second play of the game, Brett Favre goes down with a broken thumb and Aaron Rodgers comes in. Rodgers plays two series - getting two TDs - and leaves with a concussion right at the end of the first quarter.

Some guy named I. Martin, #7, comes in under center. And he runs. A lot. He keeps it on about every bootleg and shotgun play I get from the sideline. Martin actually finished with more carries than my starting RB character did (15-14), and had ~150 passing and almost 100 rushing.

We lost in OT, 26-20. I look at the depth chart after the game and see that Favre is out for six weeks and Rodgers is out for four. So we're 2-3 with a 71 OVR 3rd string QB, a 77 OVR rookie HB, and a fullback that's got to be about a 95 or so in William Henderson in the backfield.

This is a strange ing game. Lucky we have a bye next week.

I think the next Superstar I make is going to be a punter.

That might be a little fun...maybe I should do RB next.

QB is best if you like some sort of control of the playcalling, because you can audible out of a play that you don't like. I don't know if you can do that as RB or WR or any other offensive position.

I've got one as a QB for Detroit...and it's simultaneously the most fun and most frustrating experience i've had in quite some time. Detroit's defense sucks so bad that the opposing team scores a TD on damn near every possession, and there's nothing I can do about it. Lots of 56-45 games and such.
