Cards vs. Raiders is going to be must-see.
And then there was that punt thingy.
Remember that episode of The Simpsons where somebody comes and tries to sell Homer the Arizona Cardinals...well, I wish I could watch that episode right now.
BTW, the Cardinals made NFL history by blowing two 14 point 1st Q leads in consecutive games. Congrats.
Did anyone catch the second to last Arizona series... they ran the ball twice and then Leinhart threw a two yard out that got snuffed out quickly on 3rd and 8. They showed Matt walking off the field for about a second and he was rolling his eyes.
No doubt he thinks the play calling is bull .
Somehow I knew Arizona would lose, they started playing not to lose early in the second quarter. What a pathetic coaching staff.
well the lions are not much better they did win last weak
who is coming out in the nfl draft they can steal next year like they stole matt this year
wow
Sorry, Card fans, but OMG I can't remember the last NFL game that had higher entertainment value.
Tony's funny, Theisman was like, "they should be aggressive" after they ran the ball and then "they should run the ball and milk the clock" just seconds latter. Theisman also has little understanding of the rules criticizing a cardinal for running out of bounds not knowing that the clock only stops inside of 5 minutes. that's just off the top of my head, Theisman is the NFL's Walton.
az or det lol
Arizona doesn't need to steal someone in the draft. They need to can their coaching staff and find someone who has the balls to go for the win.
Sir Charles owned them all.
Let's just say the Lions and Cards are tied for most horribly run franchises.
Cards have 7 straight losing seasons and the Lions have the worst record in a 5 year span. Ever.
yep.. barkley called it. looks like he is doing MNF for the rest of the year...![]()
Too bad Leinhart didn't say it on third down and audible to a different play. Would have saved the day.
cards have their act together except for their coach now
they have every they need
I think they said this was the first time a team with six turnovers won the game.
Which probably means it was the record, but not necessarily.
Nope. The stink of 40 years of loser doesn't wash off overnight. The Saints finally won a game yesterday that any other time in their history they would find a way to lose. Tampa won a game yesterday that they would have lost any time before ten years ago. The fickle finger of fate is now pointed directly at the state of Arizona.
And Leinart fumbled the ball for the first Bears touchdown, so if they want to be losers and point fingers there's plenty of blame to go around. How they handle this will be a big factor in whether they have a chance to turn this around any time soon.
I know, but it was the first thought in my mind reading Spurm's post.
gotta give props to zona's D, they saved the game time and time again and held the top scoring offense to 3 points. Too bad it was wasted by a dip head coach.
Well, if Rackers had made the kick, he might have had to be at the stadium later than he wanted to on his date night, therefore, the miss.
