I was really hoping it was because the Mexican food smack would have just been too fun. People could get some Mexican food at the concession stand and just hold it up to Hedo as he ran down the court.Yeah I heard that too.

I'm hoping he hasn't developed something like colitis. GI problems can be really hard to decipher- if that is where it is coming from.
It was reported on our local sports station--he had boughts of this same kind of sickness last year. He gets very hard chills and throws up lots. It doesn't look good.
Hedo was part of our deep 2001-2003 bench, one of the crowd favs. He is still very close with Peja and Vlade.

Magic small forward Hedo Turkoglu has a mystery illness and will miss the team's preseason opener Tuesday night.
Turkoglu has experienced flu-like symptons, including violent chills, dating back to last year. He has suffered two bouts in training camp and will undergo tests to try to find the root of the problem.
"I'm going to get some blood tests, and I have to rest three days and then get some urine tests," Turkoglu told reporters. "I'm just curious why it's happening."
Turkoglu averaged a career-best 14.9 points and 2.8 assists in 78 games last season for the Magic in his second season in Orlando. Turkoglu also has played for Sacramento and San Antonio in his six-year career.

Hedo Turkoglu: Actually, I've been feeling better the past few days. I don't know what the illness is, but I'm waiting for the doctors to tell me the results of a group of tests I've just had. I hope it's good news, that it's not anything serious, and that I can get back out on the court as soon as possible.
