You can sample some of the rice krispie treats if you come to the bbq on Saturday to support the animals.

I'm good with recycling, it's the reducing and reusing that I have a problem with.
Our green recycle can in the kitchen fills up faster than our trash can. Just about everything is recycleable.
The funny part is you can't recycle dead fruit and vegies, isn't that a little ironic?
That's what the green waste can is for. Or a compost pile.

You take your food waste (vegetables, fruit peels/rinds, egg s s, coffee grounds, etc.) and let them decompose in your yard. It produces really rich soil that's good for gardening.

I don't, because I have a strict anti-gardening policy, but I know several people who do.
Why would composting make someone a freak? If you're into gardening, it's fairly easy to do and a of a lot cheaper than going to Home Depot and paying for someone else's fancy dirt.
It could be the Californian in me, but I've never understood the resistance to recycling. It's so prevalent these days that it almost takes more effort to NOT do it.

All I recycle is glass and plastic. Does that make me a bad person? I don't care if it does. It's not such a big deal where I live.

I joined some lame recycling club on campus a few weeks ago that's trying to get recycling started in seguin. They president and officers are a bunmch of hippies. I threw away a bunch of plastic when I got home from the first meeting. It was very liberating.
