Man, I hope Mike Bell becomes the starter in Denver. I don't want to have to play Rueben Droughns.
Tatum has turf toe, he's done.

I didn't want Romo at the beginning of the season. I will fully admit to that. And I have been a Romo girl all along, but I wasn't sure if it was the right time. More than anything I wanted to see how the O-Line was, and I thought maybe Bledsoe could handle a personality like TO better. Now there is no doubt, Romo is the man. I do feel badly for Drew though.

Johnson's was a big drop, but not the flares. Maybe they are good for first downs at best. What's encouraging is the playmaking ability of Romo.
Those first downs would have been huge. A first down and some offensive rythmn as opposed to a frustrated QB and team? , a postive gain in those situations may have been enough to keep the team from imploding the way they did.

Then you throw in the 2 late special team fumbles, and sure, Romo looked great, but he had A LOT going for him tonight. I'm not trying to take anything away from Romo but I don't think he takes the Cowboys from a below average NFL team to a team destined for the playoffs by any means. For one thing, he needs to do this again next week and the week after for it to be anything more than a single good game.

If anything, the best thing about tonight for the Cowboys would be that TO is probably going to be a much happier person in the lockerroom.

You could almost apply this to TO's 4th and 2 drop last week vs. Giants. That would have been a HUGE boon to the Cowboys that could have won them the game had they scored on that drive. But somehow, everyone thinks the Giants are so much better than the Cowboys?

To be fair, thats true. The Giants have been better all year than the Cowboys though, and they've won a few bigger games

There are situations like the drops in every game. The only point I was trying to make was that I think Scott is not being realistic about the strength of the Cowboys team right now.

romo made the line look just a little better, defense and special teams made some big plays. i'm just glad that missed fg by the drunk didn't figure in as big as i feared it would.

It will be funny to watch Brunell next week. Cowboys fans know that pain.

I agree with Scott about the penalties. They made the win more difficult. The defense played really well and Romo was good. I am glad to see the Cowboys get a good win against a good team.

    Very true.

Is Campbell the #2 for Washington...I thought he was third.

Tyson Thompson broken ankle, will be out for awhile, if not the year.

That sucks...on a late hit too. The bas that hit him should be out for as long as Thompson is.

That's horrible news, but hopefully Skyler Green can do well returning kicks

Campbell is the 3rd, but if there is a switch he'll become the #1. He took all the reps with the first team this past week, but we'll see what happens this week.

It's fun for Redskin and Eagle fans to bag on the Cowboys when things are not going well but then refuse to give credit when due! You KNOW that Romo will be a different animal than Bledsoe!!!!!
