TPark, as much as I like to beat you all the time, I do not want to have Spurs lose a game for me to be right with my 8-2 prediction. I do not see SA losing any of these three games, to be honest.

That all adds up to you changing and sticking with 9-1. The change was made and stuck with...with three games remaining. You lose.

Point 1: T Park's prediction was clearly 9-1.
Point 2: Jim's original prediction was clearly 8-2.
Point 3: While Exhibits A-C seem to indicate a change by Jim to a 9-1, a careful reread of Jim's last statement (Exhibit D), actually indicates that he at that time was holding to his original 8-2 prediction. He said that while he did not want to lose to T Park's 9-1 prediction, he would rather that the Spurs have that record than his 8-2.
Point 4: The only thing that can be said with certainty is that Jim is a complete waffling bonehead when it comes to predictions and bets; however, that is obviously not a crime around this board. Within the constraints of the evidence, his last statment seems to point to holding to an 8-2 prediction. At best, things are inconclusive, and I ask that the case against my client be dismissed without prejudice.
Props to those who did well on this but frankly 10 game predictions are for amateurs, lets see how the whole season sorts out = the last two years being right on for win total - I stand that 63 + 16 will be Spurs magic number this year barring a major injury to either Duncan, Parker or Ginobli (Tim had me worried the last game for a minute).
Frankly, this Spurs team going 8 and 2 (and it should have been 9 and 1 or 10 and 0, they did not "bring it" in two losses) was a great accomplishment and portends at least 1 10 and 0 run down the line this year if Spurs stay hungry. Blow out wins against Suns, Wolves, Lakers etc. show this team has no limit except themselves.

I did not change my prediction!!
I originally had them going 7-3 with a loss at Phoenix, then someone told me that they we AT home, so I said, "oh, that makes a difference", I will change my prediction, which was from 7-3 to 8-2...and all of this was done BEFORE any games were played, thus the 8-2 prediction stands.
I thought TPark had won, because I clearly predicted 3 blowouts in their last 3 games, hence my saying that they would be 9-1, not 8-2, which pure shame on my part for underestimating them. One can not change your 10 game prediction after 7 games...therefore I won with my 8-2 prediction...
BTW, I predicted blowouts in the last two games, which was a correct prediction, thus I win the tiebreaker over the other 8-2 predictions, so I win the contest.
Chew on that for a while, Solid.

Check out the edit time which was 1 min AFTER the post where I said I would change the Phoenix prediction. I changed from 7-3 to 8-2 at 1125 am way before any games were being played.
Okay, that explains the edit. I'm a fair man. I believe you...although all I had to go by was what was posted.
You have no evidence of that being what was edited but I see how that could have been the case.
