This obviously will put us a step back...hopefully the time away we can play .500 ball. I'd be happy to see that. He's a borderline all-star, so it pains me to see him out. Still, I'd rather him out at the beginning of the season than the end.

Sucks for the Lakers because he was just starting to find his place with the team and assert himself on a consistent basis....
I wonder how long it will take for him to get back in the groove after he heals from injury.
Hopefully it wont mess with their chemistry to much, they were looking good

More playing time for Radmanovic and Brian Cook. They need to step up. Kobe needs to carry the load a little more and play a little more selfishly. Some big tests with the Texas road trip. Lakers have had almost all of their success at home, so it will definitely be interesting to see how they do away from Staples.
