21 lbs is an awful lot. and if he adds that weight, it will take away quite a bit of his quickness, and i doubt he will be able to do as many of the incredible moves that he already does. i dont think he has the natural running ability that Tomlinson has. hes quick, but i think Tomlinson is a better runner, and has better running fundamentals. Bush just tries to blast by everyone, which that doesnt always work in the NFL. Tomlinson is a lot more of a methodical runner.

...there is no way Bush can or would put on that weight. at least not and still be as effective as he is now. there is a reason Bush is as fast and quick as he is....and while he is faster and quicker than LT, i do doubt he could ever be as good. that being said, i think he will be a great one....no shame in not being as good as the best RB ever (on pace to be).

After Portis left Denver, he put on 20 lbs. He's still pretty damn good.

Good point.
While I'm inclined to agree with this, I think Bush could put on around ten LEAN pounds and still be as effective as he is now. Totally my opinion though.
