I wasn't aware of the problems AI was having (been out of touch lately), but the dude is flat-out wrong. You don't tell your coach how to run things. He was undoubtedly frustrated over the losing. I guess 10 years of constant losing could multiply his frustration. Totally understandable, but burning bridges this early is not a good sign.
I read a good piece in the S.F. Chronicle this weekend (couldn't find it on-line though), and the writer mentioned how AI played several games (I think four), participated in two practices, moved his family cross-country and celebrated Christmas...all in five days.
It will catch up with him, he's only human. Hopefully he will settle down and just be brilliant with Carmello so we can all be entertained, 18 million worth.![]()
