Well these players want to go #1 so bad, then because they are on a bad team. Unfortunately Bush isn't under contract yet so he can't be fined the $14,000 a for each practice day missed if he is still holding out.
correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure ladanian tomlinson was a hold out his rookie year. like bush, he had the misfortune of being drafted by a notoriously stingy, second rate franchise.
so much for that theory...

Uhhhh, Hmmmmm..........
Many people didn't think so & VY has the O-ROY to prove it.![]()
Reggie Bush is the new improved Brian Westbrook, with emphasis on moar speed..
i would lean more towards a faster, bigger dave meggett or just a bigger eric metcalf.
I think Bush is the next tiki barber, Barber had more receiving yards then rushing his first couple years before becoming the dominate back is he now.
132 yards receiving and 19 yards rushing. thats 151 in the NFC championship...
Underutilized a bit in New Orleans IMO.
He will be a stud, but not the unstoppable godlike creature he is made out to be.
Just like in College, he is good for about 1 or 2 big plays a game. He got 100 yards on 2 plays and was shut down the rest of the game, just like the Rose Bowl.
You swear he actually getting 13 years every time he touches the ball. When in reality it's more like 4,2,3,-2,5, 60, 4,1,1.
Brian Westbrook is the most underrated player in the league. He needs to get himself on a better team.
So what? He's a big play threat. If one or two of those big plays go for a TD or a huge huge gain, then I'd say he's a damn good weapon. Is he an every down 4.7 ypc guy? No. Does he need to be? No.
...i think there is a lot of truth in that. but, at the end of the year Bush started to do a good job running the ball 6.3, 6.7, 4.3, & 4.8 yards per carry in his last 4 games. but its hard to say if he will be an every down back, cause Payton may never use him as such. imo, he can be...
Payton did do a great job of taking what the defense gave him. some games Bush has a bunch of rushing yards and some games he has a bunch of receiving yards.
Perhaps but
Bush>>>>>Westy
by a landslide holmes...
