this year who do yall thinks running the fastest cars?, ford, chevy, dodge or toyota?
I know for a fact chevys running fast, ford week after week runs fast cars, dodge is KNOWN for running fast cars, and toyotas new so they HAVE to be fast

but damn is chevy fast this year. but ford won last week so they must be fast. and toyota has had somw good qualifying runs so obvoiusly theyre fast. dodge i think is the slowest this year but still fast.
No no no....Ford is fast, but Chevy is the fastest, followed closely by Dodge and that japaneese company.
Is Lightning McQueen a Chevy?? Whatever he is is the fastest IMO...
Honestly... I don't think the Chevy is faster at all. What I think is that the best drivers and teams are chevys. That may sound a bit self defeating, but the teams that have been around the longest and had the best success are the Hendrick, Gibbs and RCR teams. Roush is a good team and they show they are up there as well. Look at the Daytona, Chevys were completely at the back of the back with the 2 exceptions of Stewart and Ky Bush. The rest of the front runners were all Fords and Dodges. Unfortunately there were more wrecks at the front that anywhere else, and those good cars got taken out. The Dodges keep changing makes and styles. I think they have the makings of some of the best teams (Penske, Evernham, Ganassi) but they keep dorking with their continuity. Ku Busch had, without a doubt, one of the 2 best cars at Daytona and Newman was in the Top 5 the entire race. Evernham has dominated the 1.5 mile races and the down force tracks since he came in and he made a winner again out of Bill Elliott and Jeremy Mayfield. , Casey Atwood even damn near won 3 races in one of his cars. Other than Roush and Yates, there are really no other big Ford teams.
I think Mears made a step down. He went from being the #1 car on a very good up and coming Ganassi team to the #4 car on the Hendricks team.
Toyota's best drivers are Reutimann, Vickers and Blaney. Everyone else is going to have troubles. They have some amazing HP and great 'passing gear,' but their durability and fuel milage are suspect.
Chevys have the best results so far, but I don't think they have the fastest cars.
ehhh.....chevy had thirteen of the top 20 cars at cali last weekend. a two imle track is considered an intermdiate track that woule be the same as a 1.5 mile track. secondly they had 11 of the top 20 cars at daytona. it seems they have a sure lead on manufactures points right now. if you want to point to qualifying runs, who cares. taht has no bearingon race times at all. qualifying is simply for one purpose, to try to be no. 1. has no bearingon race times. and if looking at daytona 500 i would say chevy got hosed more than anyone. jr crashed, stewart crashed and johnson crashed and kyle busch finished bad. all 4 of those guys could be considred contenders at any track on any day. and considering there really wasnt a "big one" i would sy all teams were equal as far as outside cir stances taking them out. also how do you figure evernham is the best at 1.5 mile tracks? i mean seriously, mayfiled listed as one of your top drivers? i dont think so......
in short, chevy is faster than all others. and you can look to driver championships and man champs over the last several years to confirm this. gordon, labonte, stewart, johnson i beileve have won 5 champs in the last several years.
dont forget about ford, they love 2 mile tracks, always run fast cars

Pruett can be pissed all he wants, but he was undoubtedly trying to block. Sure, maybe JPM should have waited, but he was there and Pruett cut down on him. If he was smart, he would have just let him go in the 1st place - his own damn fault.

Pruett cannot , cause he'll get replaced by someone else as soon as Montoya snaps his fingers.

The Toyota Tundra is defanatly the best race car out there. You can't go wrong with it. My Toyota dealer told me it's a big power house with speed demon-like capabilities. He had a kind face.
I don't know what it is but I heard because of the car of tomorrow, make doesnt even matter anymore!
