McNabb got it to him once, underthrew him on the run once (Freddie was pretty open), and passed elsewhere when he was very open at least twice. Factor in a good block he had to get Westbrook outside and him taking out two guys when TO caught the crossing route (ok, at least one of those was an illegal pick).
I really don't think that he had the terrible game that everyone is saying. He certainly didn't have a great game, but he did get open, caught the ball when it was thrown to him, and blocked when he was supposed to.
Reid throws the ball up to Pinkston and Greg Lewis so they can try and make a play, but he won't design a play that gives Freddie the opportunity to do the same. He really doesn't get his number called as much as he should. But that's been the story of his carreer in Philly. Dude really does have good hands and gets open a lot but McNabb doesn't see him or just doesn't like him.
All that being said, I want him gone. He has officially worn out his welcome as far as I'm concerned. I was fine with the Harrison comments but then he started ing that he didn't get his own podium on media day. Now there are rumors floating around that Reid almost sent Freddie home a day before the game. Sounds to me like they had it out. Buh-bye Freddie.
