You'd think since these awards supposedly used to mean something that they'd be given to individuals who can at least take their team to the next level with their overall talent, their defense, their coaching, etc.
My point was just how much of a joke these awards have become. When MJ and company used to win it, they seriously earned it...and backed it up. Nowadays, NBA Anlaysts don't seem to look byond flashy stats and the "star" of the year for awards. Which is a shame.
