i think i have pneumonia... or im getting asthma or something... this hurts.
I think I'm coming down with something too.
I finally tried some penguin steaks. Not as good as I thought they would be.
With hot sauce and guacamole.
Every sports bar I called is charging $20 to watch the fight.
I find that to be an absurd amount of money.
couple places in austin are showing it for free. you'd think they would all charge nothing and bump up drink prices. you should actually just show up and say you don't want to watch the fight, you just want to have some drinks and see what they say.
Anyone know of a place to watch the fight with no cover charge?
I called Murphy's and asked but no dice. I don't even think those ers have cable.
I'll only charge you $10, TheTruth ordered it.
seriously though midge, if you don't mind driving out to fredericksburg road, you can watch it here.
i hate Time Warner.
My internet went out last night.
Those fools kept me on hold for an hour- one hour, an entire " What Not to Wear episode- just to tell me that my modem need to be replaced.
The tech tells me I can just take it in to a service atation and replace it. He acted as if I have all the time in the world to do this.
That, he said , or he could send a service man to me but not until Monday at the earliest.
This by the way, was the fourth time I have called for tech support in the last week and this was the first time anyone suggested I exchange my modem, even though I repeatedly asked them what I might do to trouble shoot the issue.

Have you thought about switching to SBC and their DSL? We don't have any problems with our internet. It's not cable, it's DSL, and I really don't know the difference in the two, but they can't be too different.
To sig or not to sig, that is the question.
Cable technology supports approximately 30 Mbps of bandwidth, whereas most forms of DSL cannot reach 10 Mbps. Quite a difference in speed. DSL can be more reliable though.
Nah, I'm sure there's better.
Maybe, but you can't beat the price.
Good to know.
