Yeah, I called him a scrub and people when nuts on me

Actually, Kori, you also said he was a fringe NBA player at best. Not too shabby to last as long as he did while being only a fringe NBA player at best.

I think he'd be a good match in Denver. He can start at point and allow Iverson to continue to play the 2-guard on offense but still defend the point guards as Smush take on the bigger, more athletic 2-guards on defense.

What do Spurs fans think? Is Smush someone who would respond to Pop's discipline? Cause we could use an upgrade at back up PG next year...

Hopefully the Lakers follow suit with Luke Walton....he's a kid that could be effective on this Spurs team.

There's no way in Smush lands a starting job next season. He has a better chance of not making a team at all than being brought in as a starter.

Point guards with size will always be attractive, but it may be that Bob Hill put Smush into a permanent adversarial relationship with coaches. No need to pursue him though. There are a couple of big point guards in the draft including 6'9" Sun Yue, whom I demand we draft if he's still on the board at #58. 6'5" Tony Bland has rounded into a pretty dependable point guard in the D-League over the past two seasons as well.

I still think he's a fringe player Just because a team is desperate and uses him doesn't mean he's good enough to be a regular rotation player in the NBA.

Wow, when that "fringe" player essentially played two seasons as a starting point guard for a playoff team.

Even Rafer Alston is better than Smush Parker.
    Don't be hatin' on Skip.
