and therein lies the difference of the mentalities of both schools respective fanbases.
Mack has built a perennial NC contender in Austin and playing in a BCS game has become the benchmark for their program. Anything less is considered a disappointment. A good season but...
Aggy, on the other hand, with Fran at the helm is just content with playing somewhere, anywhere after Thanksgiving. And with their track record in bowl games, actually winning one and not getting their asses handed to them ought to be more important than whether they play in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl or <gasp> the prestigous Cotton Bowl.

I'd say zero chance of the Cotton. UT and uo will both be pretty decent this year. The Cotton is going to take either the loser of those 2 or the B12 game loser. Even as bad as UT finished up last year, they would have still been chosen over atm for a Bowl if not for the injury/loss to KState. After the loss, everyone assumed UT would beat atm and get the B12 game. The sponsorless Gator was going to exersize its 'once in four years' clause to take uo, arguably the hottest team in the nation at the time. Therefore the Cotton spoke up and said it would take the loser of the B12 game. This left the next bowl selection to the Holiday and they gladly took a 5th place atm. All of this was already done, leaving the Alamo the next bowl without a team. They were going to pick Mizzou, but they unexplicable gave ISU their only conf win of the year. Then they were going to wait to see how ttek finsihed up. In the interm, UT lost to atm, which put uo in the B12 game, and made #10 WV a better choice than UT, so UT had no other bowl left than the Alamo, who was thrilled to sell a bunch of home game tickets.i love it, t-sips on this board continue to make asses of themselves...beautiful. good job guys.

got some ? marks on defense and some possible depth problems on the o-line but i like their chances.
One thing is for sure, Michigan will choke one way or another. They will lay an egg during one of these games: Oregon, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, or Ohio State

I love the irony that this guy wastes our time and his to create a thesis on why he's ignoring me, Doug Collins and some other guy because we simply kept ripping on him and OSU.
Well, let's see - CaptMike has called practically every Suns player gay since the 2nd round, and he's been calling out TAMU sports in nearly every thread as well, with incredibly biased information. But let's not forget that he was above all of us "juvenile" ones who have tried to be nice to his dumb ass for a couple of months.
One place we won't find bias: when Louisville beat OSU 20-2 in baseball.
