What are you talking about? You're the one that made some kind of stupid comment about the Suns missing more 3 pointers, field goals, etc. etc. when they had the highest percentage in the league for the whole season!
You're an idiot.
see regular season stats.
If you want to take a randomly small subset of the games throughout the season, I can "prove" that Team A > Team B in any given stat for most teams.
What are you talking about? You're the one that made some kind of stupid comment about the Suns missing more 3 pointers, field goals, etc. etc. when they had the highest percentage in the league for the whole season!
You're an idiot.
Dirk said enough already... move on!

They did miss more 3 pointers AND field goals during the season.
Is it too hard to comprehend that they can jack up way more shots, both make and miss more FGs even with a higher percentage?
So you need an example?
Team A shoots 51% on 1000 FGAs, so they make 510, and misses 490
Team B shoots 50% on 900 FGAs, so they make 450 and misses 450.
Team A misses more shots than team B despite a higher FG%, get it?
But since I am an idiot, it's really hard to justify me being right to a genius like you. Perhaps you can point out how I was wrong, I would like to learn.
The incessant whining, pissing, and moaning.
Sun Fan, cheer up. The Spurs just bought the Austin Toros of the D-League. That means you're not the only team they own now.
Because that's the dumbest analogy of all time... comparing a run-and-gun team with one that slows the pace down and shoots less shots
Oh, and that's not even the implication of your original argument, pal.
Of course I blame the Cavs!!!
The second half of game 2 comes to mind... I can't imagine anyone watching that slaughter unless you were a Spurs fan.
The Cavs slowed the game down in game 3 and 4, and combined with poor shooting from both teams, made for some ugly basketball.
Spurs did there best to lose game 3, but the Cavs did not step up and make it a series. Oh well.
It's not like I'm getting a share of ABC/ESPN's profits, why should I give a ?
That is not the dumbest analogy of all time, because that is what happened.
Tell me where my original quote was wrong:
Go look up team stats for the regular season for both teams, and tell me ONE thing that is incorrect in that statement.
Phoenix shot 6855 FGA, made 3388, missed 3467
Spurs shot 6328 FGA, made 2999, missed 3329
3467 > 3329, Suns missed more FGA.
Phoenix shot 1965 3PA, made 785, missed 1180
Spurs shot 1561 3PA, made 595, missed 966.
1180 > 966, Suns missed more 3 pters than the Spurs.
Phoenix got 3320 rebounds, Spurs got 3337 rebounds, 3320 < 3337, Suns got less rebounds than the Spurs.
Phoenix got 553 steals, Spurs got 587, 553 < 587, Suns got less steals than the Spurs.
Phoenix got 394 blocks, Spurs got 417. 394 < 417, Suns got less blocks than the Spurs.
Perhaps you can argue that it wasn't the Suns running out of gas that caused them to lose, maybe they just sucked. So this is subjective.
Oh, one more thing, don't try to argue what MY implication of MY original argument is, because I know better than you regarding MY implication and MY argument.
I'm sorry that winning championships isn't entertaining enough for you whining Sun es.

Why not blame the ABC crew(pre, post game show, announcers, play by play). The TNT crew is 1,000 times better than ABC. , I would watch paint dry, if the TNT crew was on the job.
NO they don't draw any more interest and they are not really all that fun to watch. Seeing Marion throw up those jumpshots is beyond the pale in hideous. a million more times my ass.![]()
Sweet ride Norcal.....

In three out of the four NBA finals games, the Spurs scored less points than the Florida Gators did in winning their second consecutive le.
This despite the Gators playing 8 less minutes and having a ten second longer shot clock.
And Spurs fans wonder why pundits call their team "boring".
So because the Gators outscored the Spurs when playing Ohio State, that makes the Spurs boring?
You're an idiot.
Not surprisingly, the NCAA championship game got twice the viewership of the finals...
http://tvweek.com/ratings/040207.pdf
But im sure thats due to market sizes.
Oh wait....cleveland is in ohio....hmmmm.
CRIPPLE FIGHT!!!
Suns fan: "Spurs are boring."
Spurs fan: "Four rings, ."
Dallas fan: "You both suck."
Spurs/Suns fans in unison: "Chokers."
Maybe it's because it's a single game championship and the NCAA tournament is one of the most viewed/followed sporting events of the year...but please go on your arguments are so logical and intriguing.![]()
Youre seriously telling me the Spurs/Cavs got such a worse rating than Florida/Ohio is because of the number of games they played?
I guarantee that if the Gators played the Buckeyes in a best of seven, it would have EASILY drawn much more interest....how could it NOT? There was buzz about that match up. People like to watch Oden. They don't like to watch Duncan.
The Spurs and Cavs were all time low. ROCK BOTTOM. It can't get any worse than this, can it?
NCAA Tournament >>>>>> NBA finals in this day and age. People whose NBA team isn't in the Finals generally don't care and don't watch. Most every sports fan will watch the NCAA tournament and championship game, especially with all the gambling involved.
In the end it doesnt matter. Spurs = boring, who cares. I enjoy watching them win championships so I could really give a what their national perception is. Your nonsensical arguments are comparing 2 different things.
LMAO!
Comparing the NBA Finals to the NCAA Championship game is nonsensical?
![]()
Right...because:
1) They're both basketball
2) They both determine the champions of their respective league
3) They're both on national television
But it doesn't make any sense to compare the two?
Tell me which part you don't understand and I'll explain it to you.
I guess it doesn't make any sense to compare the Spurs and Suns since theyre two completely different things, right?
What a dumb-ass.

I didn't hate the Mavs until Cuban and the fans started up with their incessant whining. I once posted that if AlQueda national team played the Mavs, I would root for AlQueda! That's how much I hate the Mavs.
Compared to the Suns, I love the Mavs.
Suns fans are the most whiny, stupid, stubborn, idiotic babies I've ever seen in my life!
What are you talking about? Of course number of games played and number of viewers is related. Elimination games are always more exciting and what the fans want to see. Case in point: game 7 of the '05 NBA finals drew an 11.9 rating, compared to the abysmal 6 point ratings the '07 finals drew.
Yes the Spurs are boring and all that, but the system of the NBA doesn't exactly help their popularity.
