They still would've come up a good $10M short of the reasonably cheap offer he received from the Bulls....and since he's restricted, the Bulls would've matched in a heartbeat.
The only chance they had to get him was via sign-and-trade....and even that was a longshot.

There is a big flaw in that Free Agen list. I mean, I can't believe it has gone this far as being unnoticed. Yeah, but he can't shot very well. Couple that with the fact that if the offensive player shots he can't block it and not being able block those shoots makes him a bad shoot blocker.

Probably not. With training camp coming up (and Marcus Williams' fate unsure) we could be looking at some solid recruits in the next few weeks that might fight it out for that last spot. Hassan Adams is the first solid name that we've gotten that might partake. I'd be interested to see who else jumps on board.
free agents were pretty weak this year. most of the better players are restricted free agents, so you know teams will match the offer.
