It does matter. Why do you think they get discriminated against? For situations just like this. I find it very hard to believe someone white would do this. That might be racist, but it's also truth. If minorities don't want whites to continue to look down on them, this isn't the way to go about earning their respect. And let's not kid ourselves, racism is still everywhere you look.

If the guy means from a standpoint of getting away with the crime, then yes, it would have been smarter to rape someone. It's among the hardest crimes to prove because conclusive physical evidence is hard to come by.

If he means that society thinks dog fighting is worse than rape I believe he's dead wrong. Vick is getting condemned in the court of public opinion because of the federal indictment, not the nature of the crime. It's a lot harder to play that off as the result of a prosecutor trying to be a big shot or because an accuser is trying to get something out of the deal by lying. Those could still be the case, but it's less likely if they were able to make a federal case of it.

And on top of that, I think that most people have faith that federal investigators who were able to track crooked deals and moneys through such complex as Enron and organized crime should be able to track money used by small time criminals to set this ring up.

he still got fights because they could sell him as a villain. but he was dropped by most of his sponsors.

plus, their is a large difference between team and individual sports (especially with boxing, which has been inconsistently and inexplicably regulated as long as i can remember).

Ever since Tyson got out of jail, he's been a joke. He never reclaimed the glory he had previous to the stint in jail.

He had fights against paper weights. And then, he went ape . He's a novelty act now.
