No, but it would be loud and obnoxious.
so if i i'm eating and the sound of me chewing food is noise, is that considered music?
No, but it would be loud and obnoxious.
No drums, no bass, no guitars, no rhythm, no beat, no tempo, no lyrics...so, no.
the group http://www.stomponline.com/ which I saw in Vegas might say yes.

Any other band that's worth mentioning that's rock/metal that I forgot!
If anything, metal musicians are truer artists than rappers. At least they create the music themselves instead of having a producer put a bunch of beats together have a guy rap over it.
all I know is my favorite thing to do in bars is when someone is playing rap on the juke box all freaking night, I go up and put $10.00 in and play stuff like Ministry, Megadeath and the like then turn around on the bar stool and watch everyone with that "deer in the headlights" look.
I have no problem with rap (or what people THINK is rap today), I even play some on the box every once in a while, but too much is too much.
soul/blues and R&B is leaving music. by taking these elements out of the music loop we are left with 1. little more than commercial jingles 2.gurgling/screaming metal with no feel(see number1.)
some bands are bringing it back in subtle ways......those are the guys I listen to now.
Christ, McDermott what does that have anything to do with it?
That a gay metal band is a funny thing.
But, you could've read that when I posted it a couple of pages ago.
According to Merriam-Webster (Dictionary):
Music - a : the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity b : vocal, instrumental, or mechanical sounds having rhythm, melody, or harmony
So, screaming, grunting, etc., can be considered as music as long as it's organized and has rhythm, melody, and/or harmony.
I see you found Micheal Vick's favorite band.
I have always been of the opinion that there are only two types of music: good and bad. There are examples of both rock and hip hop that fit into either category.
I'd like to see the list of examples of the "good" hip hop.
The sentence I just typed is probably longer than such a list.
I disagree, but it's all subjective.
You would be wrong to disagree.
But, you're pretty cool, so I'll let that one go.
rap, hip hop, and r&b aren't music then because they don't use guitars
That's a pretty good take, I agree with that.
R&B artists do use guitars you moron.
And rap and hip hop use guitars also, even they're often sampled.
