Autorecover? But I have never had to use it. Here is a link to the Microsoft website.

Is it possible to recover a version of a do ent that I had an hour ago? I accidentally saved over something very important and it's going to cost me about five hours of work if I can't get it back.
Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do but I can't find what I'm looking for.
Thanks.
Thanks, I will try it.
If you start Excel without opening a .xls do ent, the program will sometimes have the last versions of your spreadsheets open available as temp files for you to restore.
Worth a shot.![]()
That only happens (the latest versions being shown) if you shutdown Excel without saving due to some program errors.
Anyway, none of these solutions worked and I stayed up all night to re-do it. Thank goodness I have a good memory and remembered a lot of what I had input.

Not laughing at you, just glad I'm not the only one messing up on the computer ......
Sorry you had to stay up all night....![]()
You're hosed.
Yikes. Can't say I've never been there myself. Glad you got it all put back together.![]()
