Fedor was mentioned and shown on Countdown to UFC 75...another good sign that his signing is a done deal. Same thing happened with Big Nog...they started talking about him and boom, he was signed. They don't mention fighters outside of the UFC normally.

Crocop appears to be both humbled and pissed about losing. He's also opening up to the UFC fans by participating in the countdown show. Remember how he was before his first 2 fights? They could barely get him to do any interviews or anything...

Rampage and Hollywood should be a great fight.. I'm thinking decision. I'm hoping Cro Cop gets this win and he doesn't retire after his contract is up. CropCop by KO in 1st. Bisping should be obvious, but there could always be an upset. Bisping by TKO 2nd RD. Alexander is just tough -- 1st RD TKO. I'll admit I don't know much about Taylor, so this is harder to call. I'll go with Davis's experience overall in MMA and his current win streak (although against a number of cans).

I know I can't be the only one that finds at least a little humor in the "Pride vs UFC" promotion of Rampage vs Hendo, right? Sorry, but Rampage made his name in Pride and is still a "Pride guy" to most. He was Pride when the Pride vs UFC debate was at it's height. I'm sure some UFC huggers will claim his win over Hendo as proof that UFC > Pride. Unification belt? Great. Champion vs Champion? Sure. Pride vs UFC? Not so much...IMO of course.

I'm a huge Hendo fan, but I want to see him takeover the MW division, so I'm pulling for Rampage.

I also think we'll see the old Crocop, with a twist. I have a feeling he'll take Kongo down and pound him out.

I think Alexander will be exposed as a fluke.

I hope we get to see Silva vs Drwal.

I agree. UFC has some crazy antics. I could understand more if Hendo didn't sign a contract with the UFC. He is a UFC fighter, not to mention the fact that Page spent most of his career in Pride.

The other thing; I hear so many people talk about Hendo's superior wrestling and how Page won't be able to do anything against him. I guess some people didn't watch him fight Lindland? Lindland sucks at wrestling, I suppose. :shrug

I simply do not understand this match up. Its so incredibly one sided its nearly pointless..... in fact my guess is eTV asked for this matchup to hype TUF a bit as part of that 100 million dollar contract.

I like Hamill but he isn't anywhere near close to fighting someone like Bisping. Bisping has fought and beaten some high caliber talent int he UK before TUF.

Matt will look quite overwhelmed pretty quick here, he simply does not have the experience of Bisping...NOR THE SIZE ....and Bisping is by no means a big LHW.

Out of everyone that has come out of TUF he is one of my top "prospects" who can one day compete for a le. Diaz, K-Flo, Joe Daddy and Bisping are all becoming top fighters in their own right.

I will readily admit I fell prey to the Griffin hype and he would have been on that list not too long ago.

I would have loved to see Forrest Griffin fight Bisping here instead but I must give the UFC props for serving up one of their biggest hyped fighters to herald in a true Champion in Shogun.

While that may seem weird this happens all the time in sports. TNT gets the NBA to change game times to meet their demands all the time when they are working the schedule, same with FOX and the rest of the networks for the NFL. Even NASCAR bows down to demands.
