My senior year (I graduated in 87) I went to the Holmes-Clark game at Northside (that's Gustafson to you folks under 25.) and there was 16,000 people there. Clark knocked them off 41-38 despite Wilbur Odom throwing for about 400yds. Holmes was #1 in state and top 25 in the country at that point.

I know they both had years in the NFL...not sure about now. Odom went to Michigan, sat behind Elvis Grbac and then finished at Angelo State. Johnny Walker went with the Cashes to UT then played minor league baseball for a while, and even had a stint with the Cubs.
