    My favorites, from memory:

David Robinson capping Karl Malone three or four times during a visit to SLC. Malone finally managed to throw one down on Dave after that, but aside from that DRob clowned him the whole night - must have been about 1992.

In a road loss during the 1994-95 season in Orlando, David put the clamps on Shaq in defeat, blocking him at the rim at least twice and really disrupting him on many other occasions. Possibly Drob's greatest individual defensive effort.

In a home win against the Magic in 1996, Doc Rivers capped Penny Hardaway at the buzzer to preserve the lead for good.

Tim Duncan abusing Kenyon Martin for at least three of his NBA Finals record-tying eight blocks on 6-15-03.

Bowen on Chauncey (2005), then Bowen on Dirk (2006).

That's all I remember for now.

I forgot DRob capping J. ONeal to preserve a win in the 2001-02 season opener.

    Robinson on MJ 1992?
    Duncan on Vince

Both WOULD have been nice posters for Bulls and Raps fans...

You can make a highlight reel of one hour on nothing but Robinson blocks. Then another 2 hours on his dunks. I'd buy that DVD.

TD has had some great blocks.

Glad someone mentioned the Malik block on Shawn. But the one Malik block that made me jump out of my chair was the one he had in NJ against Mutumbo when Dikembe was being a pain in the ass in the paint. That was TOTAL ownage at the rim!!! And we won the le, the kind of sparkplug play Malik always had in him.

Pretty sure you have confused that with his dunk on Dikembe... All good though, Malik was the man.

Yeah, that was a very very good one.

He was intense in that series.

You reminded me of this season, Duncan's career high blocks 9 vs. Memphis January 26. He was incredible that night...especially for a slow guy.

While we're on the subject, the 9 against PHX was pretty much win, as well. Good times.

I'm not sure if it was my favorite but one of the best blocks I've ever seen from a Spur was in Duncan's rookie season by Jaren Jackson. Yes, good ol' JJ. The Spurs were playing the Clippers and JJ had an amazing block on a fast break against Rodney Rogers. Mind you, this was back when Rogers was a rock of muscle. Amazing block.

Man, YouTube can be awesome sometimes. This was the block I was looking for:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=CKVqpXl3M18

Oh my God ... David Robinson was a freak. He'd make some of the "athletic" bigs of today look like Rasho. Four dribbles from the opposite free throw line to the other basket? No dribbles inside the three-point line? Unbelievable.

Dammit, I forgot that one! That one was great. Although I remember it from the 1999 season, not 98; anyway, thanks for the refresher.

This is why I never answered the actual question in this thread.

Any Duncan block ranks with me. And games where he's just on it...

Just a Duncan fan I guess...

Horry on Iverson on the break during the Nugs series this year. The Spurs got the carom and scored a 3 pointer. HUGE 5 point swing.
    That block was HUUUUUGGGEEEEEE...

The foul on Dirk can't seriously be considered one of the best, seeing as the Spurs didn't even win that series. The one that comes to mind in recent memory is Bowen on Billups in 05.
