Enough with the bandwagon bull . Every team has a bandwagon, so technically, unless you were around on day 1 of the team's formation, you're a bandwagoner.
Actually that is not true. Obviously if your team was born in 1960 and you were born in 1970, you couldn't be there on day one. A bandwagoner is someone who jumps from team to team just because a particular team is winning. A true fan, IMO, is what you said also, someone who picks a team and sticks with that team regardless of winning or losing. It doesn't matter when you pick that team, its a matter of staying with that team.

I was there for the Landry's down years. I was there when Barry "Shiza" Switzer began killing the team. I was there for the Chan "The Man" Gay-lee experiment. And, I was there for the abomination that was the Dave Campo Era.

I'm a fan through and through.

I hate bandwagoners and people who root for a thousand different teams.

I'm a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, San Antonio Spurs, and Notre Dame. Bandwagoners suck.

I was born into a family of Cowboy Fans. Been one ever since, through 1-15, mid 90's, Campo era and now the Garrett and Romo era.

My dad is a New Yorker and a Giants/Jets fan, my mom is from DFW...My mom looked at my dad and said..."No way in is my son, who was born in Texas is rooting for any New York team. He is a Cowboys fan".

Dude, my dad is a diehard Redskins fan. He's also a diehard Red Sox fan. It explains why we hated each other when I was growing up.

My dad doesn't like college football, but he still gives me about Notre Dame.

That er will root for any team that plays against the Cowboys. Since I moved from Brownsville, the er calls me up just to brag about the Cowboys losing.

My mom just doesn't give a about any of this.
