So will Malcom Floyd get everything taken away or will Slacker Jackson get reduced due to Chambers?
Floyd seems to be the odd man out.

Now I'm really pissed its a bye week, I just want to see Chambers in that damn uniform already. The Chargers now have two #1 receivers.

Sure, if the other one is named Gates.

The bye week is good though, gets him better prepared. Great move for the Bolts...and for my fantasy team!

Stoopid move IMO. Floyd has caught a lot of tough in traffic passes, 6'5" and long helps a lot in tight situations. Like playoffs.
VJackson seems to get the pampered treatment.
Well, this Chambers certainly looks consistent.
We get Chambers for a 2nd, Pats get Moss for a 4th.

Floyd and Jackson are pretty much identical, and neither one has done much this year. Floyd seems like he's had a lot of trouble getting separation this year though. And with this pickup, I think a lot of pressure will be taken off of Jackson. Jackson has talent, but I don't think he was ready for this big of a role this early.

don't wet your panties chargers fans

chambers is not a #1 receiver

he drops the ball more than TO

has a hard time getting open

the spectacualr catches he used to make are not going to happen(haven't seen those in 2 years)

Chris was a player that I kinda liked, but his inconsistency really ticked me off sometimes. All told, considering how much he was paid and how inconsistent he was, I'm not sad about this if we really got a 2nd round pick.

He became expendable the day Ginn was drafted, same type of receiver. At least they got a 2nd for him and didn't just get rid of him like McMike.

    good luck to him

he finally gets to play in a good team

I consider a 2nd a steal when you consider the Patriots got Moss for a fourth. I didn't think Chambers would be worth more than a 5th based on that.

Now if we could unload Ricky to Tampa for a 3rd.

ps. now, do u guys want JT, for a 1st

The only knock I've heard on Chambers is that he has a tendency to drop balls. Has this been his whole career or just lately with his crappy QB's? He made the pro bowl recently and that's more than I can say for the entire Chargers WR crew (minus Gates). I have a feeling he'll pan out just fine with the Chargers.

Chambers has always made the highlight reel catches and dropped the easy ones.

This goes back to his days as a Badger.

The Chargers should trade for Cleo Lemon.

Apparently, he's the black Dan Marino.

chambers is a one hit wonder (2005)

blame it on the crappy qb's, but he lead the nfl in drops last year

and he dropped some easy pases this week

chambers should do good with the chargers, especially in the red zone and goal line situations (gates, LT, chambers) wow

chambers is only 5'11 but can jump pretty high

    Chargers.com wrote:
The Chargers believe the 5-11, 210 pound receiver can contribute immediately due to his knowledge of the team’s offense. In addition to working with Turner in the past, Chambers has spent the last six months working in Cam Cameron’s offense, the same system that Turner runs and the same one that is still in place from Cameron’s tenure as the Bolts’ offensive coordinator.

“The bonus for us is that he’s familiar with the system,” Turner said. “It should be a quick and easy adjustment for him. We expect him to come in and be productive right away.”

Cameron will be solid to good in that system.

Bennet though could put up good numbers in the Buc's system.

Yes! ONE hole is at least taken care of for now..

now if Merriman can keep this up, the Chargers are formidable once again...
