They all play in the NBA, I win ...
Since we are a little bored right now waiting for the start of the season, here is a question to ponder:
How would DRob, Tony Parker, Gary Payton, Robert Horry, Tom Heinsohn, KC Jones, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Steve Kerr be linked in a group?
The winner gets a free tooth bleaching.

They all play in the NBA, I win ...
carbon based lifeforms?
they all won championships with teams that end in "S".
EDIT: I take that back....Payton was with the Heat.
Just the carbon based part then.

They all saved 15% at Geico last month?
They all pulled up to a house about seven or eight and yelled to the cabby, Yo homes smell you later?
Considering that the Heat, Jazz and Magic as the only NBA teams whose names did not end in S.
Remembered that while playing 90s' Jeopardy PC game...
You are right which makes me wrong....Payton won with the Heat.
I edited accordingly.![]()
Jimcs50 lost money on bets involving everyone one of them.
None of them were on the 80s Lakers.
And including Tim Duncan would make both DRob and Parker redundant.
Oops. I was just referring to the jeopardy games of yore I played on my 386 SX PC.![]()
What are nine people who have never been in my kitchen?
Their NBA championships won are in sequence. I will add one more name.
Dirk 0
Payton 1
DRob 2
Parker 3
TD 4
Kerr 5
MJ 6
Horry 7
Heinsohn 8
KC Jones 9
Uh, yeah, I can't count. Never mind.
Nothing to see here, haven't had my coffee yet.

Found this about Kerr and Horry...
Steve Kerr and Robert Horry, another famous reserve player and clutch shooter, alternated NBA Championships for a decade, and combined to win 12 championships over a 14-year period. Either Kerr or Horry was on the roster of every NBA Championship team from the 1993-94 season through the 2002-03 season. Kerr's teams were winners in the NBA Finals in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2003. Horry's teams were victorious in the NBA Finals in 1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2007. Each won 3 les playing for Phil Jackson-coached teams (the Lakers and Bulls), and every other championship with a team from Texas (the Spurs and Rockets).
Nice.
Of course, there's an 11, but no 10.
Nice work, Jim. Very "Savant" of you, indeed.

That wasn't a trivia question, more like a riddle.
What is the Spurstalk discount, even if you answered your own question before someone won a tooth bleaching?
It will change this next year....Horry will replace Heinsohn, TD will replace Kerr, and TP will replace TD on my list.

Dirk will stay put though.
