SO im going to NYC (Manhattan) for the first time in a couple of weeks. Does anyone recommend anywhere I should visit? Ill be there from Thursday morning till a monday. For pee wee ill walk by Yankee stadium and spit on it hahaha.

Oh man you will absolutely LOVE it. Of course do all the "sites" such as Empire State Building, and Statue of Liberty. If you aren't into a pure tourist adventure, I prefer just to see Ms. Liberty from the Staten Island Ferry. I don't know how you feel about Ground Zero (I haven't been there) but the Firefighters Museum is wonderful; it is in the fire station that was the first responder on 9-11 and has a beautiful tribute. You don't really have to plan alot of things to do, walking around seeing and eating is all the fun you need. LOTS of restaurants: I recommend Patsy's (there are several) for pizza and just about any corner deli, especially for breakfast. I could go on forever, but you'll find that just being there is the main kick!

Seriously, skip Ellis Island and the Empire State Building. They're way overrated.

Spend some time at Little Italy. There's this restaurant called "Il Fornaio" (I believe I spelled it right) that you just have to go to.

Try to catch one of the plays/shows at Times Square. There's nothing like watching live acting right before your eyes. I got to see Alfred Molina play Tevye in broadway presentation of Fiddler On The Roof. It was a badass experience.

There are also quite a few museums you could go. I'd recommend the MOMA, MET, and the Guggenhiem(sp).

You can also walk the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan, right in front of Ground Zero and make your way to Brooklyn. That part of Brooklyn is pretty cool, but I wouldn't go any further into Brooklyn.

The Empire State Building is NOT overrated. Do go there.

Go to John's Pizza in Times Square for dinner...best pizza and they also have all other types of pasta dishes, but the pizza is great.

Take a carriage ride through Central Park with your lady...very cool.

You've got to go see some Broadway productions. Tries to get tickets to Wicked, but could not. Go if you can.

Saw Spamalot and The Producers and both were great though.

Scores West is better than the original. Make sure you bring alot of money if your going there.
