I like Cotto in this one.
Saturday November 10 on HBO PPV. Should be good. I think Cotto will win. This has been a great year for boxing.
I like Cotto in this one.
Cotto is yet another overhyped Boriqua. Mosley will toy with him
Cotto's chin will be tested. I'm totally rooting for the new blood.
Cotto is far from overhyped, Mosley knows he can't toy with him because Cotto has heavy hands. I do expect this to be an entertiaining fight with Cotto coming out on top.
I like Mosley in this fight, which should be an excellent, tactical fight.
But I'm telling you guys DO NOT miss the Calzaghe/Kessler fight the week before on Nov 3rd. Both of these dudes will leave it all in the ring that nite.
not missing that Calzaghe fight.
same here. should be great.

I'd rather loose a limb than miss that fight!
Cotto is gonna bust up Mosley's ribs. TKO 9.
If Calzaghe's hands aren't 100%, and he shows the lack of power that he's had the last few fights, Kessler is gonna kill him.
I'm looking forward to the Calzaghe fight more than the Mosley. And I don't have to pay anything to watch it on HD at home, which couldn't be any better.
Yeah, I'm loving that the fight is free.
Does the winner of this fight sign up for a superfight with the Great White Hype? Pavlik Vs. either one of them would be a HUGE in America...
Just rewatched a couple Mosley fights and a couple Cotto fights, and I'm about as pumped for this fight as I've ever been. It's gonna be a war. Neither one of these dudes knows how to back down. I'm gonna give the slight edge to Cotto right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mosley still has the faster hands. If he can touch Cotto with the overhand right to open up the left to the body, I can see a Mosley knockout. Kind of similar to what he was doing to Oscar in the 2000 fight. But Cotto has shown that he can come back from a taking a beating and give his own. Every fight he's in is a brawl. It's gonna be beautiful. Give me 12.
Truth - you're right on the money regarding Mosley. How much speed has he lost in his hands? If it's minimal then he's going to be in Cotto's grill all night. But if he's lost something, he won't win the fight by only being able to counter Cotto's blasts all night long.
I'm just excited about the fact that we're gonna get 2 boxers that are perfect for each other. Both like to slug, both have great chins. Just can't get over how great the last few weeks worth of fights have been.
It's been a solid last half of the year. And it was needed.
I don't have Showtime but I've read and heard that the Marquez/Juarez fight was pretty good too. Marquez won pretty handily by the scorecards but Rocky gave a good effort in defeat.
The Hatton/Mayweather fight is another story. I'm afraid that one is going to be one long grab/clenchfest. No way I dial that one in. I'll just wait a week and watch HBO's replay and save the $$.
Juarez always gives great effort. Just doesn't have the skill to mach up with the best mexican's in his weightclass.
Hatton/Mayweather is bound to dissapoint. Mayweather fights usually do. He is just to good of a "boxer". One or two punches and he's gone. The one clinching will be Hatton. He's overrated and will be badly exposed.
That's if he can even catch Floyd.
But yeah, the guy hasn't lived up to the hype.
I am going with Cotto on this one. It should be good.
My official pick is Cotto via split decision. I think it's gonna be hard fought for both men.
You're predicting that one judge will see it differently than the other 2?![]()
yeah it happens, I feel the fight will be very close and competetive enough that one judge can view it differently from the other 2.
I know it happens, but predicting it seems a bit odd...![]()
Not odd at all. He's just predicting that it's gonna be a close fight. Almost too close to call.
