It's all good. I don't think anyone thought the skins were going to get smoked that badly.
Jimcs50 will NOT be making any more "lock" football predictions. I blow at it, obviously.....take THAT to the bank.
Can I BE any worse at predictions? I don't think so.
Hope you all had a good laugh at my inep ude.........that is why I am here.....for your entertainment.

normally a team favored by 17 in the NFL won't cover, but then again most teams don't go for it on 4th down twice when they are up by 30. Never bet against the Pats, they seem like their goal is to not only win the game, but to cover the spread every week.
My brother used to gamble quite heavily on sports, and he even subscribed to a service that told him who to bet on each week. They also had a "lock of the year" for their subscribers. Well, my brother was doing pretty well one year and in about the 8th week of the NCAA football season, they had "lock" bet for their subscribers. So, my brother and his wife went to Vegas to put in the bet, because his local bookie would not take bets over $1000. He was up about 5K for the year, so he decided to put 10K on the "lock". I think it was Cal vs Stanford. Anyway, Cal or Stanford(do not remember) had to give 20.5 pts and that was the lock....to lay the points.
What happened?
The dog not only covered, but they WON the game. $11,000.00 down the drain. That ended my brother's gambling career.![]()
Yea Vegas always manages to come out ahead. The one time I beat the odds was 2 years ago (well actually july of 06), I won 1000 on Blackjack and then turned around and put that on the Spurs to win the championship at 7 to 1. I am excited about this year because I have 1k on the Pats to win the Superbowl at 9 to 1.
well it was entertainment. I left the game at 7-0 and thought man Jim might have been right, when I got back to my house it was 38-0 or something like that. All I thought was damn, I hope Jim did not take his own advice and bet the house, farm, car, first born, etc....
I was laughing at you when they were down by 30 pts. Then, I just started to feel bad for you when they put up 50 on you guys.
The entire world of sports betting is a conspiracy. Even when you win a big bet, you're sucked into a bigger bet and that's when they tell all the athletes and coaches to flip it. They're all in on it. The whole sports world. It's a conspiracy.
