wtf happened to Elson? Guy has a great first quarter and he's banished to the phantom zone.
Sorry, not gonna happen. I don't mind listening to other team announcers, and of course, you expect them to root for their team.
But this is the worst I've heard in a long time, and it's ing annoying. Particularly by ing asshat who backs out of his coaching contract when he's not good enough to make the team win and is unwilling to put in the time and effort in making it a better program. Me, bitter? What?

The sad part is that you are truly not exaggerating!
I thought Calvin Murphy was going to jump over the table and start a scrum!
Keep on dreaming.![]()
I wondered about the rotations too...
No, no it's really not. The idea that losing is a "good thing" is a fan creation. The Spurs are going to improve to the same point by the end of the year whether they lose 2 games in the Fall or 15. If they only lose 2 games, it means they're already close to where they need to be. If they lose 15, they'll have more growing to do, but they'll still end at the same place.
Don't forget that Bruce Bowen regularly sacrifices to Satan and is the DIRTIEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME EVER IN THE LEAGUE OF ALL TIME EVER.
in slow-mo, there was minimal contact--the shameful part was how obvious it was that manu was purposely flailing both arms.
karma was the subsequent t/o and rox bucket
Let's see what this team is made of.
No, he's right. The Suns do look weak this year. You would think after playoff failure upon playoff failure that team would FINALLY focus on start playing some damn defense. Looks to me like they haven't learned .
It feels like we're down 25.
Not jumping ship, but I've missed ing about the Spurs as much as watching them play. I'm enjoying this.

We got our butts kicked without McGrady, that was horrible. This forum had gone nuts and they thought there was ZERO chance a championship is gonna happen. Well looky now.![]()
Hopefully Duncan gets it done though, but really Im looking forward to the Spurs' first loss of the season rather than another win.
-Duncan is off. Part of the problem is this is the first game he's actually had to work for his shots.
-I like Manu's energy but he needs to use another shot other than his flip over Yao. Plus I don't want to see Manu vs. Bonzi defensivley anymore.
-Parker needs to stop with the jumper and go right at Alston. He has a big strength advantage in that matchup.
-Bowen playing well. Can't really defend TMac much better.
-Oberto a quiet seven minutes.
-Elson was really good in the first quarter. Elson was really bad in the second quarter.
-Finley needs to only shoot wide open threes.
-Barry do much but the three was nice.
-Washington should have gotten a couple more minutes. This game isn't that important and I'd like to see what he could do in this situation.
-Bonner sucked defensively and was invisible offensively. Bad combo.
Nah, it's a good thing if it makes them address the problems that caused the loss. Usually the good losses happen to worse teams, but this will do in November.Regular season records are the sole concern of the mavfan. The Spurs are going to improve to the same point by the end of the year whether they lose 2 games in the Fall or 15. 6 min, 0 pts, 3 PFs
Yeah, I remember that. I told people that they were overreacting, and that particular loss didn't mean in the end, but they continued to cry.
You know, I don't say this enough, but I ing hate the Houston Rockets.
They've been irrelevant for such a long time, I had almost forgotten how to hate them.

Excellent points by timvp.
naturally.
How they're only down 13 after playing that horribly is beyond me. The defense hasn't been bad but the defensive boards have been about the worst I've seen in years. There's no energy on the floor in the 1st half, and this just may be one of those games. We'll see what they bring in the 2nd half.
Okay, I missed the first half. Who the is supposed to be keeping Bonzi off the boards?
