The Warriors just didn't have enough weapons, even with the usual ridiculous joojoo they have when the play the Mavs...

Which Baron Davis flop was better...

Last night when he took a dive and got the 4th foul on Howard...

or when Jet "body slammed" him last season?
it's gotta be getting body slammed by a guy 35 lbs. lighter than you

This is the best flop job I've ever seen. Devin Harris and Manu Ginobili are impressed:

haha yeah i'm never satisfied, even with a win. but honestly, with jackson out, they should have pounded this team into the ground, and instead they let them hang around all game and barely escaped with a victory. i'm about as pissed off as i can be about a dallas victory.
I'm not worried. Even in their absence, Azubuke got more minutes, and made up for exactly what those two guys would have done. If they played, Azubuke would not have had the monster game he had. At the same time, Dallas didn't have George, Jones, and Howard just came off injury. As many excuses that can be made for the warriors, the Mavs can make some too. The fact is, both teams were not 100%, but the Mavs took care of business. I wish they had played better, but I'm not worried about it one bit.

And I didn't get to see the entire game, but why did Diop only play 15 minutes?

also, from what I saw, to me it seemed like the Mavs didn't play their best game. They missed a LOT of shots that they would normally make. Golden State still was hitting everything, plus their usual bizzare bull shots that they seem to only hit against Dallas. If Dallas hit a few more of the shots they hit 9 times out of 10, they would destroy them.

he pulled a Dampier last night and was just completely ineffective in every way.

also, they played most of the game with Harrington camped out at the 3-line which of course renders Diop useless if he has to guard a guy way out there.

thats why IMO, we should play Diop, Dirk, and Bass all at the same time. We need to slow that ing game down, like the Spurs do, and now we have the players to do so. Not as well as the Spurs, but enough to work against teams like GS.

Boy, I'm loving Bass... I called it from the get go, that he was going to be a very nice pickup, and I see him only getting better. He is very versatile, athletic, and has talent, and I always wondered why the Byron Scott never played him. He's still learning, as shown by that attempt at a putback with 8 seconds left, but at the same time, he plays his ass off every minute of the game, and I love that about him.

Another thing I noticed, is that the Mavs have worked on a better type of rotations when teams swing the ball on the perimeter. I noticed it several times last night, and I'm sure it will only get better as the season goes on.

And it's only going to get better. I know there's some disappointment this morning, but we won a game at GS's pace, were we supposed to blow them out? I think Charles and Kenny are right that this is nothing to celebrate, but I think you can take something from this game as opposed to nothing. We didn't play particularly well and GS played their best game of the season so far.

Scott just doesn't trust young players, and they had Tyson Chandler and David West ahead of him.

Not really a knock against him, but Devin Harris has to have the quickest flops in the history of the NBA. He'd get tapped and dive 4 feet and hit the ground within .04 seconds.

LOL, thats true. I've never seen a guy that can fall so fast. As soon as he gets hit, he's laying on his back. It's like he throws himself down or something, but he does it faster than I've ever seen before.

Kellena Azubuike can straight out ball, but he has the biggest nostrils I have ever seen! Bigger than SJax or Josh Howard.

Dude, Howard's nose is nowhere near the size of SJax's

Jackson's nostrils have their own freaking gravitational pull

Jason Terry's head has its own gravitational pool, that dude must eat Gushers for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
