Al Sharpton![]()
Sorry if I offend any white folks but.........I do not want that Hillary Clinton calling the shots.
Who is on your ' No' list for President?
Hilary - no socialist in the White House for me, thank you.
arnold schwarzeneger
although it would be nearly impossible to change the law
i think al sharpton would be a of a president
and the reason most wouldnt would be mostly because of his voice and his hair
I have to agree with Arnie. no!! But you're right, that's nothing to worry about.
The thought of Hillary scares the out of me. I bust my ass for my salary, I don't want it being used to subsidize those who choose to sit on their ass all day.
Communist socialism didn't work in Russia, and it wouldn't work here either.
Oh, and you can add Kerry, Edwards, and Gore to the list too.
Anyone who is black.
No Mouse in the WhiteHouse!!!![]()
People said the same thing about Bill, but you know what? The stock market went from 3500 to 11000+, and the deficit was eliminated during that Democratic administration. WTF? She couldn't couldn't do worse than Shrub has. WTF difference does it make what you're taxed if your ing job is in Bangalore India?
Um, I'm sorry, but I would take another four years of Bill Clinton before I'd take 2 days of Hillary in the White House.
Yes, she'd it all up in two days.
As for taxes, my job isn't in BangaloreAnd back to Hillary, her idea for socialist health care is the same program they have in England, and take it from someone who has English relatives - their system sucks complete ass.
Yet. Bush still has three plus years left. Give it time.As for taxes, my job isn't in Bangalore
And you act like Hillary would be dictator. She would have to work with Congress. Frankly, if tax dollars have to be spent taking care of people, I'd rather it be Americans tha Iraqis. You think we're not supporting health care over there? Better us than them.
the recession started under clinton too.. did you forget that?
In all honesty ex, some of those jobs got outsourced because people were asking for too much to do simple .
Case in point, outside of my regular job, a friend of mine's company was looking for someone to set up a VPN server in Dallas and set up 10 home users for VPNing into the main server so they could work for home.
Some IT clown gave them a bid of $10,000 to do the work (which would take all of maybe one Saturday afternoon if you count travel to the various home users), and people wonder why companies outsource (I did it for $7K).
Similarly, you've got IT people here in the US wanting to charge $60/hour for network help desk, of course companies are going to contract it overseas for $5/hr.
Some workers here in the US priced themselves out of the market, sadly.
I don't want Jeb Bush, Guiliani or Hillary.
Bottom line on outsourcing is its supposed to help our ever increasing trade deficit by increasing demand for our nation's goods and services by other nations, but its impossible for a Industialized nation with any type of wage restrictions, worker safety standards, SS, yada, yada, like the US to compete with a former communist country like China who pays its workers an average of 32 cents per hour. Also, from a National Security stand-point, I believe it is dangerous to outsource too many of our Nations IT jobs. We should work with our trade partners, especially Asian countries to lower tariffs on things like commadities and durable goods and subsequently raise the obstacles to protect the U.S. IT industry. I have nothing against American companies, like U.S.A.A., hiring foreigners, as long as they keep the work here in the U.S..Similarly, you've got IT people here in the US wanting to charge $60/hour for network help desk, of course companies are going to contract it overseas for $5/hr.
NY TimesIn an abrupt policy reversal, the Commerce Department said that it would begin an investigation into the need to re-impose trade quotas that were lifted just three months ago on a wide variety of Chinese apparel.
.....
The announcement came just three days after the administration published data showing that imports of cotton knit shirts increased 1,257 percent in the first three months of 2005 compared with the first quarter of 2004. Imports of Chinese cotton trousers jumped 1,500 percent, while imports of underwear tripled.
Those products are among the few kinds of mass-market clothing still made in the United States. They had been protected under a quota system that expired at the end of 2004.
See, this is exactly what I am talking about, we will protect textile jobs with quotas, setting off a inevitable trade-war with China in the process, but we don't protect our more precious IT industry? Plus, I thought lower costs for American consumers was supposed to be a benefit of outsourcing, not a reason to start trade wars to protect political allies.
Oh, so you'll take Condi Rice, Mike Huckabee, or Haley Barbour? George Allen? How about Phil Breseden or Mike Easley?
All right, I know, it's Barbara Boxer or bust.
I have to take back what I said. I did not want a woman and I did not want a black person.
but this Rice lady looks like President material more and more each day.
Yeah, our national security is completely ed if the terrorists take over Earthlink and AOL's dial up connectionsfrom a National Security stand-point,![]()
Wingnut myth #338
March 2001
I swear if another bush gets elected president any time in my life i am grabbing all of my belongings, my loved ones and moving to canada, england, or some place decent like that.
Preferably england, at least they don't have a national debt caused by wars that help 1% of their respective population.
I would not want Hillary elected either. Why must a person be given special consideration just because she was Bill's wife? Screw that. Just as stupid as Bush getting elected for being a ing Bush.
Amen to that. It's a sign people are not paying close enough attention in that someone with name recognition has to be the front runner. The heck with that get some fresh blood besides these nepotiistc retreads.
