Mavs' Dampier to miss game Sunday
DALLAS (AP) -- Mavericks center Erick Dampier will miss Sunday's game at Minnesota because of swelling in his left knee.
Dampier injured the knee Wednesday in a win against Golden State. He sat out Friday's win against Miami. The 12-year veteran is averaging 5.2 points and 6.4 rebounds this season. He is shooting 67.5 percent from the field.
Jerry Stackhouse is day-to-day after spraining his right thumb against the Heat.
Big game for Al Jefferson is coming.
wow, I'm sure they'll miss his single-singles![]()
some mavs fans think he's an all star.
The Mavericks could play 4 on 5 and still be a stronger defensive team than the Suns.
those people are what we call "idiots".
You've had some good one liners this week.
He's just owning a Sun fan hes supposed to own..no surprises here

Mavs need Damp to be healthy if they are to have any shot in the playoffs...so yes he is important
Dampier isn't really an important part of the Mavs. In fact, none of Dallas, outside of Dirk, is a significant part of the Mavs team. You put any group of players around Dirk, and they will probably be the same: Get open jump shots off double teams to Dirk. Get the refs to give you calls. It's an easy formula.
he's saying how he's supposed to say it![]()
according so some idiotic mavs fans, HE'S AN ALL-STAR!
I don't think hes an all-star but hes definitely important to the Mavs.
there just the idiots there supposed to be
Just sucking the he's supposed to suck.
Your stupidity reaches new heights daily....
Really? I've never heard anybody say that. He's overpaid by a lot, but he's an important part of what we do. He rebounds and can defend opposing bigs, that's a precious commodity in today's NBA.
