arrested for "intent to sell". waddah?
Ivan Cash says he was hauled away in handcuffs, taken to the Midtown South Precinct, fingerprinted and held in a cell for three hours - until the Knicks lost to the Sacramento Kings, 107-97. Then he was given a ticket and released.

I don't know how the Knicks keep getting away with that , and I still don't understand how you can get kicked out of a sporting event for booing. If the guy was selling shirts of someone pissing on a crucifix I bet the cops wouldn't arrest him.
Oh, and they didn't give the guy a citation, they actually gave him a Knicks ticket.
The Knicks gestapo is at it again.
I keep thinking the Knicks organization has hit bottom. I keep being wrong.

Dolan is an idiot.
Reminds me of what happened here in Portland a few years ago. TLongII might remember this...
Near the end of GM "Trader" Bob Whitsitt's career in Portland, a lady at a Blazer home game held up a sign that said "Trade Whitsitt". She was asked to stop displaying the sign for the fans, and more importantly, the tv cameras to see.
She refused.
She was escorted out of the Rose Garden.
Not long after that, Bob Whitsitt was done in Portland. Do the two things have anything to do with each other? Obviously not. I just think it's damn funny that the lady was kicked out of the game for displaying an Anti Blazer management sign.
It seems ever since Guilliani cracked down on crime the NYPD are having a hard time finding anything useful to do.
Maybe they were hopeful he would have ties to the mafia? Trying to re-live the glory days.
Eh, the police checked every time for a vendor's permit. This time he just didn't have one.
I could see ticketing the guy...But you have to take him in for booking.
Really?
What a waste of resources.
Selling, and "intent to sell" are two different things.
Was he not intending to sell?
You never know, he could have been putting his shirts out to dry.
its a good alibi.![]()
