I say he is going to suck it up and go back to LA for his last year and come of the bench.

The only thing keeping him from retiring this second is the paycheck.

He will retire from the Heat. At this point in his career no team is crazy to trade for his contract. For what the Heat are paying him for what he contributes you are better off going cheap and signing Jamaal Magloire.

He'll retire a Heat. If they don't dog him to much while he's sucking, otherwise he'll sign a year contract with the lakers and retire a Laker. Both teams will retire his jersey.

    Has that ever happened before?
Have 2 teams retired the same player's jersey?

Moses Malone had his jersey retired by Houston, but for some reason, Philadelphia hasn't retired his jersey yet. Why not?

if Bryant and Bynum lead their team to a championship i dont think Shaq will retire his jersey there. i believe Lakers fans hate him (from reading the post in lakersground.net)

If he is "a Heat" wouldnt that make them the "Miami Heats?"

Miami will retire his jersey I bet.
Don't know about LA, but imo they should.

It is a lot of Lakers fans who don't like him anymore but I am not one of them. For what he brought to this franchise it is impossible for me to hate him. I thought after time fans would forgive him but they have not, I guess Shaq making derogatory comments about the Lakers team added fuel to the fire.
