Rookie Jaguars S Reggie Nelson had better hope by the time New England shows back up on Jacksonville's schedule that Patriots QB Tom Brady is retired. Because Nelson was the only person at Gillette Stadium not impressed by the way Brady patiently waited out and picked apart the Jags' defense Saturday night.

Brady completed an NFL-record 92.8 percent of his throws (26 of 28), completed an NFL-record 16 passes in a row to start the game and finished with three scoring passes and no interceptions.

"He ain't all that," Nelson said afterward. "It was a check-down game. Anybody can go 26-of-28 in a dump-down game."

The fact is, no one had done it before Saturday.

Nelson is probably fortunate none of the Patriots chose to take on-the-record shots at him. New England preferred to make him tackle instead of making him defend passes. He was credited with six tackles but whiffed on several others.

I heard his center questionned his IQ.
He said he has a hard time learning the playbook and most of the time calls the wrong plays with the wrong formations

well, in all seriousness, the wonderlick mainly determines the ability to find patterns in puzzles and find the riddle in trick questions.

people who were exposed to certain kind of puzzle books/problems at home or school have a huge advantage over those who were not.

so it's really really debatable as to whether it really measures any kind of level of intelligence, regardless of whether that translates to the football field.
