Washington, January 23 : Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has revealed that her husband, basketball player Tony Parker, often fakes his on-court injuries.

The actress says that she really finds it difficult to watch her husband play for the San Antonio Spurs because she never knows when he is actually hurt, and when he is acting.

"Sometimes he acts to get the flagrant foul or, to sell the foul more, he'll throw himself on the floor and really play it up more than what it is," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I really don't know what the difference is so I'm like, 'Stop laying on the ground if you're not hurt. Just get up!' He's like, 'Honey, I have to stay on the ground sometimes.' But I get really nervous, it's nail biting," she added.

I can't speak, of course, about that fan fluff the original poster linked to, but my link was from a mainstream Malaysian newspaper. Given, they won't read a physical copy of the Malaysian Sun, but news.google.com (from where I found it) easily links articles from San Antonio Spurs, etc. I'm sure they most certainly DO read news sites to see how the media reports on the games. Are you suggesting that the refs are so technologically incompetent to jump from reading paper copies to reading news from the internet (many jokes there, but nothing to suggest that they don't do this)?

All I am saying is that she should shut up especially since there is even a slight risk of backlash possible from the refs.

They should put the patches all over Tonys body, and when he is going down on the floor, hitting the floor or whateva his contact with the ground besides the feet are this patches should sent a signal to the patches taht will be in the brain of Eva, so she would know if Tony is fine in microsecond.

Anybody who's watched Tony play more than 15 games has regularly seen him go down in a heap, come up limping and holding a random appendage, then miraculously he is zooming around the court at top speed two plays later.

The guy isn't going to war or off to sea, he's playing freaking basketball. Sounds like Eva needs to get her panties out of a wad.
