STop comparing Tim duncan to Bynum moron!!!!!!!

Kobe is your number 1 option and ours is Duncan! You can make excuses if Kobe wasn't playing but don't give me that crap about Bynum.
unfortunately for them, thats one of their "big three"

Ok answer this for me. If Tim Duncan was taken out of the game do you think you'd still win?

That's what Bynum means to the Lakers. When you have to rely on Kwame and Mbenga you just aren't gonna win many games against good teams.
    YEAH.

Bynum is better this yr, but it's too early to over-rate him Laker fan. You can really see how good he is if he wins over Duncan over and over again. But I think you still have to wait for sometime for him to do that.

you see, if Bynum is just like a Boeing, Duncan is stealth. He'll dominate when you least expect it. Problem is he usually dominates in the playoffs. TSK,TSK,TSK

Lebron probably can in the next couple of years and Magic could have probably done it without Kareem too. Yes Teams can be built around Big guards if they have a component big Man. They don't need a dominate one just one that is decent and they can contend!

Kobe is a franchise player don't sound stupid!
You didn't comprehend my posting. You need to go back and re-read it.

NOH is #1 in the WC right now.
Well, that doesn't say THAT much. The standings are meaningless as of right now.

Four teams have pretty much the same exact record, give or take a Win or a Loss!

This Laker team is gonna be a beast in the playoffs if Bynum comes back healthy.

Very very scary team out there tonight.

It makes perfect sense to compare Duncan and Bynum. They both have similar roles. Both are the last line of defense in the paint and the low post presence on offense.

I don't get why you guys are calling him a scrub. He averages 13/10 in under 30 mpg and was literally improving by leaps and bounds from game to game before he went down. He was #2 in the NBA in dunks behind Howard and was leading the NBA in FG%. He's huge for our team.

Dude, you're just lucky that Pop felt sorry for the Lakers and decided to uncharacteristically play small-ball. If we'd played with Bonner and Elson, we'd have humiliated the Lakers even more than we did.

Nope, Phil gave you that 3rd quarter. He refused to call a timeout, refused to make subs utions that would have stopped the bleeding. He does this all the team and it makes every Laker fan nuts. We've lost at least 2-3 games this season because of it. We'd have 10+ pt leads coming into the 4th and Phil would leave a struggling bench unit in the game and let the other team come back in until it was too late to fight it off.

Nothing the Spurs did impressed me tonight. They can still play great D, but the offense just doesn't look great. If we had Bynum and our guys we would have won this game easy. That 3rd quarter would have never happened.

it makes you nuts the same way the DEC-JAN Blues make spurs fans nuts. thats the way Phuil plays. he wants his line-up to figure out whats going on by themselves, generally it works-as per your record. but today you got beat. you played the way you always do, the spurs finally showed up and you got stomped. take it.

i'll be the first person to post a negative post when the spurs play like , but i wont doubt they're ability or make excuses for them. can you say the same?

I like it when we play the Lakers.

I like how both Manu and Kobe go back and forth, reading each other's passes and picking off steals. Either one of them have bad turnovers against each other.

I like how Duncan abuses Kwame, and would like to see him and Bynum go at it.

So Bynum would've kept Kobe from turning it over 9 times, and kept Brent barry and Udoka from bagging open shots all night?

    Quite interesting.

Well if Phil Jackson didn't hand-wrap that 3rd quarter it probably would have been a closer game.

No timeouts called, no subs utions made, he let the players try and play through it and we lost the game because of that. Turiaf, Sasha, and Farmar would have really helped because our offense was so stagnant with Kwame/Luke out there.

But whatever, this is a meaningless game in January. Let's see how both teams do when we play @ the end of the season. That will give a better indication of where both teams are at.

For the record I do think the Spurs are a better team, but I also think the Lakers can beat them in the playoffs if they play well.

honestly, t park, i dont think a laker fan would compare bynum to td. i think that to them, bynum is their second best ,consistant threat. so it would be like us missing tp or manu. sad really

I did read your post..and the big men that won the le had great counterparts.

Duncan had D Robinson, Elliot.etc. Then had Jackson, Manu and Parker.

    Kareem..had Worthy, Magic, etc.
    Shaq had Kobe..then Wade
You can make a argument for either way.

THe Jazz never had a dominate Big man and they made the finals and would have won if not for Jordan. Same thing with the Suns. Same thing for the Blazers and the 91 Lakers. Iverson and the Sixers..The Nets and the Cavs too.

The Pistons won back to back le without dominate big men also...and Isiah was a franchise player

Chris Paul is a franchise player and he makes Chandler and his whole team better!
Even the Mavs made the finals without a dominate big man because Dirk is an outside shooter!

Also it's nearly impossible to find quality big men anymore. So you have build around guards and forwards.

You're still not getting it. Read it again.

that great game of Ime must have been a payback for the Lakers for not signing him for more after just 4 games in 2003 He wanted them to show what he can do.
