Those braids must be too tight.
On NBA Nation, he's playing the race card about the potential new age limit.
Hey Jermaine, for every Lebron that's made it in the past 5 years, there's a bum like Leon Smith that is living on a curb somewhere after never making it.
I've lost all respect for Jermaine this year. STFU and play ball.
That, or they gave him too much morphine his little injury.
Damn racist bas s paying him millions of dollars to sit on the bench in Portland for four years before they are forced to trade him for next to nothing because they are going to lose him to free agency.
Leon Smith would have been living on a curb if he wasn't a basketball player.
I don't see why people get upset by the people that "almost" make it.
There are 5 million people out there in the same financial situation as the kid that "almost" makes it that don't even come close.
Someone in another forum posted a stat about this.
%75 of the NBA players are black.
%71 of the player that would have been effected by a 20 yr age limit in the last 5 years are black.
If these are true its actually helpful for the black athlete.
I'll try to find out how he came up with these numebrs.
For every Tim Duncan there's an Ed O'Bannon.
Jermaine is a dumbass because he didn't go to College. Every time he opens his mouth he justifies the age limit.
As someone who has to save up to buy NBA tickets, I don't see why I should have to pay more for a ticket to support a team that drafts a kid out of high school that sits on the bench with a guaranteed contract. While I don't like rules that save the NBA from themselves, it's probably a good thing financially for the ticket-buying public. It is not, however, remotely racist. Black people buy NBA tickets, too.
