As much as I hate Isiah, there's a lot of truth in that statement.

Isiah Thomas laughed when someone compared the Celtics’ overnight turnaround — sparked by trades for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen last summer — to the Knicks’ plodding rebuilding effort. “They got Kevin Garnett,” Thomas said with an incredulous smile. “That’s a Celtic trade.” He was referring to the fact that Garnett was traded to Boston by Kevin McHale, the vice president of the Minnesota Timberwolves and a Celtics legend. “I have to wait for Dumars,” Thomas joked, referring to his old backcourt mate Joe Dumars, the Detroit Pistons’ team president.

He said what a lot of people have already said and the rest has thought. The only difference is that he could get some heat for that. Can Isiah get in trouble for anything anymore?
even if true; Zeke is still clueless. McHale as a GM is a ing idiot. Dumars, even with the whole Darko thing counting against him, is one of the top GM's in the league.
Imagine McHale could have had Bynum, Odom, Farmar, and Javaris Crittenton instead. What a ing idiot.
