Anyone good enough playing to make it worth driving an hour or so to see it? I have no clue about HS B-ball.

2008 has a handful of very good guards and two or three promising big men. No LeBron, Durant or Mayo in this year's crop, but Brandon Jennings, PG out of Compton, via Oak Hill, is a star. He's a bit short, so his NBA potential is a bit of a concern, but he as Iverson's quickness and ability to take over a game offensively and has reminded many of Kenny Anderson at Georgia Tech overall. if nothing else, he'll deliver some excitement. Jrue Holiday, Demar Derozan and Tyreke Evans are each fantastic ball players and there are a handful of bigs, namely Greg Monroe and Ed Davis, worth watching.

I'd say if it's just an hour, then go ahead and see them.

if you go to YouTube and search for Brandon Jennings, you'll be amazed at the kid's ability.
