Rams close to signing Al Saunders as OC

Not that it will make a big difference, but thats the word in STL.

Prob Linehan gets one more year, then hes fired and Saunders is made HC.

Saunders would be a good hire for St Louis. His system would be a good fit for the personel on the offense.

Yeah if STL had a defense, they would prob be halfway decent.

And an offensive line.

Truth be told, Saunders has proven to be rather ordinary without one of the best OLs in history that the Chiefs were sporting.

There are a lot of play calls that work pretty well when Trent Green can sit in the pocket for 6 seconds and Priest & LJ are given holes big enough for Rosie O'Donnell to run through.

He had decent talent in DC and he oversaw a decent offense. But his play-calling wasn't elevating the offense anywhere near elite.
