"You don't want to stop teams from doing their business, but we don't feel like it makes sense at this time. He's starting right now and things are going pretty good."

What a piece of . I was just over on a Mavs forum and the majority of the posters there are fuming and want George's head...

Because of injuries he's starting. I think they're going to have to wonder if it's in his best interest to remain in Dallas.

What exactly is wrong about that?

I swear, people act like Devean invented the no-trade clause.

He had a nice stat line tonight:

    33 Minutes

0-11 FGA, 0-2 at the FT line, 4 REB, 2 Assists

    Things are definitely going good.

I didn't want to do the Devin for Kidd deal, and the psychology talk was always exaggerated and overblown, but I don't see how you can stand pat now and not bring in Kidd. Bad, bad chemistry if they just call it off.

when the playoffs hit and the mavs have the same roster doubt will creep into their heads bc of past failures and they will get bounced in the 1st round again. you cant keep this core around its needs change

I'm pissed off. Cuban and Donnie are not fans playing around with the espn trade checker. There's no way they didn't cover the George angle before making the trade. He had to have changed his mind. What kind of future does he think he has in Dallas? What good are those early Bird rights if the Mavs don't resign him? That's money he'll never see no matter what.

George saved the Mavs from a 5 year free fall. Kidd is shooting 35% and is a stat king but the West best PGs will eat him alive and losing Harris defensively is a step backwords and Diop gone is a black hole in the middle.
