I really like this idea for a preseason game and it's nice to see the NBA trying new things.

I think it is a great idea, and they should have like 2 regular season games per year outside as well.

Robert Sarver said that there is about a 1% chance of rain at that time, and that if it rains the game will be canceled.
yeah playing in the rain would be really dangerous. slipping onto hard ground would mess guys up.
It's kind of a new old thing. Back in the early days of the NBA games were held outside occasionally.
Rain the desert southwest is hardly a problem, but wind could be.
