Chris Paul seems to put up big numbers against anyone. I don't know how he does it but he does! Absolutely incredible. He can drive as well as Iverson and has the court vision of Nash

And they just got Bonzi and Mike James. If they weren't before, they're a serious contender now. Absolutely unbelievable how the West has ten very good teams and the East has only 4. There's about four teams with legitimate le hopes that are going to be done after the first round.

It's one game what the are with all the Spurs fans acting like asses for? Stop worrying so much about Dallas. It's funny a lot of Spurs fans act like s when Dallas loses a game; and then act like cry babies when the Spurs lose calling the team old, etc!

Of course Kidd didn't do well against Chris Paul..he is playing the best point guard in the NBA what did everyone expect? Give the guy some time to mesh with his new team.

I actually did watch the game and it certainly looked liked Kidd's first game. It seemed like he was trying to hard to get his team-mates involved instead of just playing his normal game. Kidd is a great player so it's only a matter of time before he gets the hang of things but the Mavs biggest problem is in the middle and with the west getting bigger they traded for a point-guard and will pay the price for it. I mean if they end up winning it all then hats off to 'em but i don't see it happening. Not this year.

Have you bunch of morons even taken a look at the standings ?, the spurs and mavs are separated by 1 game... Spurs can miss the playoffs as easily as the mavs can. Nothing is written in the west this year, every thing's up for grabs.

Also, you might want to talk about kidd's failures here after a few more games and a few more practices. he's practiced once with the team, so don't be so quick to dismiss this trade...

The "hole" in the middle is Diop's 17 minutes per game. He was in Avery's doghouse and wasn't playing much anyway. We got no offense from the center position at all with him and that was part of the problem with Devin out after that bone bruise. We were playing 3 on 5 when it came to offense. No doubt he can play defense and block a shot or two, but the Mavs made this trade because of how ty our offense was going, and Diop wasn't part of the solution there, he was part of the problem. And the only reason Jersey insisted on including him in the trade was because of his expiring contract.

As far as missing the playoffs goes in relation to this trade...if it hadn't gone done, the Mavs would still be without Harris for another 2 weeks. They still may have fallen out of the playoffs and looked much worse doing so. I'd much rather have Kidd in here at a time where you can make some moves in the standings than continue to see the mess that was the Barea/Terry PG mess.
