Actually Kirilenko is now the king of flopping, Manu is living off his old successes as he has now been overtaken by Kirilenko, nowitzki and even Deron williams, and of couse, old stand by derek fisher.
Ginobli as great as he is has the tendency to flop. I dont know if its just foreign players or what. Hes great and hes like a whirl-a-derby in the lane. Ive got tons of youtube videos of flops that im sure youve already seen so i wont post it.

Bruce Bowen worked his ass off to become a starter on the most winning team in the NBA in the last decade. And he did it by playing defense. For years, he has drawn the task of defending the best player on the opposing team, night after night, and he's done it better than anyone in the league. To reduce that to the point of saying that "His job is to get you so pissed off at thim that you lose your cool and got tossed" is both unfair and ignorant.
Manu flops. No more than a lot of other players. Even so, it takes a fair amount of basketball savvy to anticipate and put yourself into a position where it will be effective. And it looks really similar to getting into position to draw a charge. But people have started screaming "flop" every time he wobbles on the floor, which is bull . If you really used to be a Spurs fan (shame on you), you know that he has a nickname around here - "El Contusion". For every picture you can show of him flopping, I can show you one of bruises, black eyes, bloody noses, etc. The guy only knows two speeds: Stop and GO. He plays his ass off, and he takes a lot of abuse. A lot of the time, he falls down because someone has knocked the out of him.
The people who talk that about Bruce and Manu are usually looking for an excuse for why their team lost. And those comments are often followed by discussions of David Stern conspiracies, etc. Don't go there. You've got a good team. And if one of your players could suck out a couple of cheap fouls by flopping, to get Duncan off the floor? Don't insult anyone here by suggesting they wouldn't do it.

I love reading the pre-series complaints/concerns of Hornets fans.
It will be very interesting to see how the relatively inexperienced Hornets and their fans deal with the tried and tested Spurs. It's not as if booing Bruce Bowen or chanting things at Manu Ginobili will change their games. And stop already with the "already knocked off an experienced team" posturing: for all of the playoff games that the Mavericks have seen over the years, they've rarely passed the tests that the playoffs pose.
I'm not saying experience will win out in Round 2; I am saying that the notion that the Hornets might somehow be able to intimidate the Spurs is nonsensical.

Okay. His job may not to solely do that but he gets under players skins like no other. I am not challenging his work ethic hes done great jobs against great players (Kobe etc) I said originally that his dirty play was an X-Factor because our star player CP3 has a temper. So does DWest and TC. These guys can get hot from time to time.
Im well aware that Man flops alot but doesnt do it every play. He can draw contact with the best of them. Like Barkley said he's the white(i know hes not) Allen Iverson in that aspect. They have players of his build that dont flop as often though however. He is somewhat durable he does have an ironmans at ude to the game. But I dont know if he would hurt himself as much if he didnt try to get contact like that. I'd love to see Duncan to get in foul trouble. Chandler and West are not floppers however.

If this were a game of just starters, maybe, but you didn't take into account the bench and I will take the Spurs bench and their coach in those respective matchups. Then again, the Spurs are old and can't possibly beat a younger team, can they?
The Hornets inability to keep their cool will be their undoing in this series. The Spurs are like Iceman in Top Gun. They play ice cold, execute to perfection and never let emotion take them out of their game. You get bored, frustrated, do something stupid and they've got you.
