Anyone know what they're going to do where Central Park Mall was? I've heard that whoever bought it had plans to turn the area into an entertainment center. Theaters and such. They're taking down the bank buildings next to it, so it's a huge lot. It seems to be in perpetual limbo, though.

Funny how the mall rankings have changed.

When I was in high school at Roosevelt back in the 70s, Central Park had overtaken North Star as the best mall.

Then Windsor Park was built right next to Roosevelt my senior year. For a hot second it was THE Mall.

Then Ingram was built and was the class one.

Now it seems that North Star has outlasted them all.
