New Orleans fans are rowdy!
At least 20 minutes for me...
looks like another year where an old skool team gets clipped by the basketball version of the "Flying Wallendas".
That was ESPN saying that, and it's been a joke all along. I guess the Suns took more out of the Spurs than anyone knew, because the Spurs are back into full blown regular season form.
If the Hornets shoot from outside like that, they'll win the le. Translation: Not likely to happen.
I guess the Hornets are THAT much better than us.
They have now blown us off the court FOUR, count em, FOUR times this season.
I see no reason why Games 3 & 4 should be any different.
Series OVER
They're not going to blow us out at home again.
I'd like to believe you on that one.
But they've done it already, and it's their 5 against our 5, just like every other time.
Maybe the Spurs pull one out, like the Sons did in Game 4 in the last series, or like the Jazz won their 1 game against us in last year's playoffs.
But we both know the Spurs are done.
Come on Spurs don't give up, you guys are the champs for a reason.
Quickly
CIA Spurs
Fake to the left
Fake to the right
OK HAMMER DOWN NOW!
What did you think this was our first time to the dance?
In order for our ascension to basketball elite we must take roads that are not familiar.
Spurs in seven!
Book it.
This game was REALLY depressing to watch. I'm still completely deflated...
These guys just got embarassed out there tonight. I wonder when the Spurs will relearn how to shoot the ball. If they don't then this series is DONE.
I mean seriously, I can hit some of those wide-as- -open shots. Nobody even breathing on you...
This happened to us in 2001. Completely embarrassed, and couldn't hit wide-open shots.
And the Lakers just toyed with us that year. They let us close in a couple of the games, and then Kobe & co. said, forget this, and proceeded to kill us.
Once again: Juwan Howard took DA out in 2001. The Spurs didn't show up for that series. There's no excuse for a completely healthy Spurs team to fold up the tents. If they were to do that it would be totally and completely unprecedented in the Tim Duncan era.
Some of you so called Spurs fans can kiss my ass. Your team gave you what, 4 rings in the last 8-9 years or so and you guys bail on them like so many rats from a sinking ship after two bad games? I went into this series picking the Hornets in seven because unlike most of the fans, I knew they were very very tough. , being a Laker fan, they were the only team that actually worried the outta me.
Let's see what the Spurs are made out of now.
Duncan and Ginoblli have too much pride to let this get too ugly and bow out with the receiving end of a sweep. Tony Parker, on the other hand, I knew he was soft all along.
IF the Lakers get past Utah (which seems likely) and the Hornets gets past SA, I predict a seven game series between NO and LA with LA barely squeaking by.
However, I have too much respect for Duncan to think this series is over.
Well put. The team that gutted out game one against the Suns needs to step up to the next challenge.
OP....
Thanks buddy...HAHAHAHAHA
after game 1...
Happy with Paul now??
SpursDynasty...nowhere to be seen after game 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
